Little May - Seven hours

Hoy os hablo de un grupo que conocí a finales del año pasado, no recuerdo cómo. Se llaman Little May y son tres chicas de Sydney que empezaron haciendo versiones en pubs. En 2014 sacaron un EP homónimo, y tras telonear a artistas como Angus and Julia Stone y formar parte de algunos de los festivales europeos, en 2015 debutan con su primer LP, For the company (Dew Process, 2015), producido por Aaron Dessner, guitarra de The National, grupo del que ellas se declaran muy fans. 

Parte del disco fue grabado en una antigua iglesia de Nueva York, y lo muestran en el videoclip de su primer single Home. Pero a mí me ha llamado más la atención el videoclip del tema Seven hours, una canción que escribieron durante un viaje a Jindabyne, en el sur de Australia. He estado mirando fotos del lugar y la verdad es que es precioso. No me extraña que la inspiración llegara allí con esta letra tan triste y bonita a la vez. Hay una frase que se repite, que resume perfectamente el tema del que trata: “You’re still here”. Os dejo con ella:
