Stars - Your ex-lover is dead

He estrenado 2014 en mi sección en la radio con un clásico en forma de canción perfecta, y es que este tema de Stars, tiene ya sus años. En 2004 encabezó Set Yourself on Fire, el tercer disco del grupo canadiense. El tema también formó parte de la banda sonora de la serie estadounidense O.C. y de algunas películas. La canción empieza con la voz del padre del cantante, que es actor, diciendo una frase que incluye el título del disco "When there is nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire." 

Os recomiendo que veáis el videoclip, porque es bastante curioso con toda la banda tocando en una pista de patinaje sobre hielo que se va agrietando.

Lo último que tenemos de ellos es un EP con dos canciones y un remix que sacaron el año pasado, con el título de los dos temas Wishful / The light, tras haber sacado su LP The North en 2012.

Y como curiosidad, decir que hace un tiempo, Zahara nos regaló a sus fans una versión muy bonita de esta canción, que la podéis escuchar a continuación.
